"No rule to make target" error

There is a header file I removed from the project. It has been removed from the Project Panel, and all the includes that reference it have been changed or removed from the files in the project. Yet when I attempt to compile, even after cleaning and "Build All" I get this error:

C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\VisualDSP 5.0\gmake-378: *** No rule to make target `Header.h', needed by `Debug/CommandThread.doj'.  Stop.

No valid command(s) to build.

Build was unsuccessful.

I did a file search among all files in the project for "Header.h." It was only found in the make file, and it was found there many times. Since the mak file is recreated with every compile, it is pointless to edit the mak file. Where else could Header.h be entered in the project so that it is still put in the make file?
