compiler error cc0461 when migrating from Visual DSP++ to CCES

I've just migrated a working Visual DSP++ 5.0 project across to CCES version 1.0.1, and have a compiler error cc0461 that is preventing the build completing.

In Visual DSP++, this compiler message was  flagged during the build as discretionary, with the severity over-ridden, as shown below

line 412: cc0461: {D} warning: initial value of reference

          to non-const must be an lvalue

  conveyor.pushFirstDatum (conveyorBits, BitCoding (0,0));

.... but the compilation proceeded sucessfully to the end.

With CCES,  the compilation halts with this message.....

cc0461:  error: initial value of reference to non-const must be an lvalue

      conveyor.pushFirstDatum (conveyorBits, BitCoding (0,0));

How can I force the compiler to treat the cc0461 as  a warning ?

Regards

Michael
