Get 'make' errors using 2011R1 pre-built tools and default uclinux-dist

Getting compile errors.

Host: Ubuntu

I have downloaded and installed the pre-built tools:

                blackfin-toolchain-2011R1-RC4.i386.tar.bz2

                blackfin-toolchain-elf-gcc-4.3-2011R1-RC4.i386.tar.bz2

and downloaded and installed the following uclinux-dist:

                blackfin-linux-dist-2011R1-RC3.tar.bz2

The pre-built tools were extracted and placed into the /opt folder:

opt/

     /bfin-elf

     /bfin-linux-uclibc

     /bfin-uclinux

The paths are set to the /bin folder in each.

Executed 'make menuconfig' without any changes.

I get errors very quickly after executing 'make'.   See attached file.

My understanding is that I should be able to use the pre-built tools 2011R1-R4 to make

the default uclinux-dist 2011R1-RC3 with little chance of errors.

As a test, if I use my older, very reliable toolchain (2009), it compiles the 2011R1 files for quite a while before failing.

So something must be amiss with the 2011R1 tools.

Thanks
