I can not find setting for uncompressed uImage in Buildroot. Is there this setting and where?
For booting with uncompressed kernel image you may take a look at https://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=linux-kernel:xip
Could you elaborate what is your ultimate goal, why need a uncompressed uImage, so we can better understand your use case.
Now I have resolved my problem (and run kernel on my board). But for increasing knowledge, for example ...
I see you advice at http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=boot_speed&s=fast&s=start "Timing the boot process" - "use non-compressed kernel image, with a separate filesystem". And how can I make it?
Will booting from uncompressed kernel accelerate the booting process or not actually depends on your detailed system, in one hand this will save the time of decompressing the kernel, while in another hand the bigger size of a uncompressed kernel will increase the time of reading it out from the storage, I'd suggest you to look into this first since booting from uncompressed kernel would take you lots of effort on hacking.
I understand it. But I don't know image size without compressing. What is aprox relation between compressed and not?
