What Data sheet parameters should I use to predict Gyro drift? Is "Calibrated Null" the bottom line number or do I need to calculate a number using the Alan Varance curve?
A gyro drifts over temperature and over time. The "calibrated null" is a measure of the achievable accuracy over temperature once it is calibrated at a minimum of 3 temperatures. This is definitely not the bottom line number. The bias stability which is indicated by the minima of the Alan variance curve would represent the best performance achievable, this is a function of averaging time and it assumes that there are no variations in supply voltage or temperature.
