Two questions about the AD9914.
1.) What is the nominal output power of the device? I see that the output amplitude is controllable, which should then in turn control the output power in a 50ohm system correct?
2.) My system would have the DDS producing a frequency sweep, go through our sensor, and into the AD8302 producing a DC voltage from 0-1.8V. I want to be able to use the DRG in the DDS, but I was thinking that there would need to be some kind of syncing between when the DDS changes frequency, and when the ADC makes a reading. I'm trying to follow a changing resonance of our sensor, so it's important to know where the AD8302 output data lines up with frequency input.
Is this possible? Or would I need to write a single tone, record the ADC, write another single tone..repeat. The reason I didn't want to do that was because faster=better (of course).
