On one of our devices used in automotive environment we need to protect the video outputs from potentially incoming DC voltage. As we realized (too late), with wrong customer there is a minor chance to put +12v to DAC output lines, particularly to red and green channels. According to Murphy's laws, we immediately received 2 burned devices in a couple of weeks since production. We would like to know if a simple solution, like decoupling capacitors could be used in this case. If so, which value/type we should use? Thank you!
