Are there any PLL's or Synthesisers from ADI that don't require programing - ie are Hardware/pin settable?

the ADF7901 transmitter is also pin-configurable and can be used in the same manner as the standard PLL parts,
although this only operates over a relatively narrow range.
For customers who want to set and forget we usually recommend they use a very simple 6-pin PIC processor
with OTP or EEprom memory to configure our programmable PLLs. These low pin count controllers are typically
around the 30 to 40 cent region.
AD9552 and AD9551 also is pin configurable in integer value.
Do you know of any circuit documents showing how you could configure a PIC chip to an ADF41### (PLL synth chip) to store the memory. How could the PIC chip be programmed, lots of people must have done this before?
