Hi, we try to work wtih frequency sampling at 96kHz on the BF518 EZ-BRD but it seems that the audio codec keeps working at 48kHz.
Does anyone already succeed to increase sampling frequency up to 96kHz ?
I tried to use the exemple code given in the Power On Self Test Project, that should work at 48kHz and this code works actually at 24kHz.
Somebody ever found a mistake with that ?
The BF518 board uses SSM2602 audio codec. SSM2602 audio codec has certain limitations on the combination ADC and DAC sampling rates. For 96kHz both ADC and DAC sampling rates should be set to 96kHz. Please see page no 26 of the SSM2602 data sheet (http://www.analog.com/static/imported-files/Data_Sheets/SSM2602.pdf) for details on the allowed sampling rate combinations. The SSM2602 audio driver supports 96kHz sampling rate.
Thank you Murali for the answer, but my problem was that I configure the codec (through SPI) for any configuration, for example 48kHz, and when I calculated the elapsed time between two interrupts, It seemed take two times more time.
Now I know my mistake, the codec gives back 4 samples per interruption two by chanel0 and two by channel1 of the SPORT0, that is what I didn't know.
