Hello, I am currently working a project with the use of the AD BF537 board with ucinux. I want to ask if it is possible to use the edge function in the gpio structure without treating the edge port as an interrupt? To give an idea on what I'm doing, I want to make a simple counter program with the use of a hall effect sensor (sensitive to magnetic field). I tried configuring the input gpio as a simple input however the number of times it counts the signal as the magnet passes the sensor is not accurate. I figured it would not be accurate due to the length of time the sensor senses the magnetic field, although it only passes the sensor once, the program clock is too quick that it counts one pass as a multiple pass. I need to have a program where it can adapt to varying speeds at which the magnet passes the sensor. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
