Good day,

I once asked how to use SPI ports and the drivers needed before I can use my device via SPI port, unfortunately I lacked the corresponding .c driver for my BMA180 tri-axis accelerometer, that is why I ventured to the I2C port as an alternative. With much luck, I have acquired a .c driver for my BMA180 tri-axis accelerometer that is in accordance to the I2C port. Now my question is, are the steps in initiating the I2C port similar to that of the SPI? Also, I am unsure which of the I2C drivers found at the linux-2.6.x/drivers/i2c directory I should use with the driver of my accelerometer. Lastly, I was wondering that by selecting the I2C options found at the menuconfig, would it automatically include the I2C drivers into the image file after "make"?
