The input of the AD8302 is not affected greatly by poor VSWR, so no matching is generally needed. The input to the AD8302 actually works off a voltage but for optimal power transfer, a 52.3 ohm termination resistor is used. Many times people will use a coupler to pick off a small part of the signal and feed that into the AD8302.
Can I put any coaxial cable at SMA conectors in AD8302 eval???
As long as the cables you are using support your frequency of operation, and they are 50 Ohm cables, then yes.
According to datasheet in order to cover the AD8302's measurement range, one of the input must be the reference with -43 dBV so that the other input sweeps all the measurement range (-30dB to 30 dB).
My doubt is how can I get -43 dBV (7.08 mV)????? Is necesary to attenuate the signal before??' How can I calculate that attenuator??
