Are these parts obsolete or near end of life?
Hi Jose -
No these parts are very much alive. It's getting some new design wins and also is in production with a number of customers. It was introduced in 2010.
I used the AD9761 on a design back in 1999 and the AD9763 back in 2005? The datasheets date back to 2001 and 2003. Why do you say they were introduced in 2010?
My apologies I answered you based on the AD9961 and AD9963. The AD9761 and AD9763 were introduced in 1999. The AD9763 and AD9761 are not recommended for new designs. You can look for alternatives in the selection table for high speed DACs on www.analog.com.
Thanks for the clarification. Can you recommend a similar dual output dac 10 bit?. Also need to know if the AD9883 is becoming obsolete. Want to use it on a new design.
The AD9115 and AD9715 are 10 bit dual 125MSPS worth looking at.
Someone from the HDMI group needs to address the AD9883.
Can you create a new thread for your question about AD9883/AD9883A in the video community (http://ez.analog.com/community/video)
