AD7734 Not reading channel when cold.

Using a AD7734 in my design.  I have a problem with some chips not reading channels properly when the operating temperature approaches 0 deg C.  Data sheet and Analog devices claim operation to -40 Deg C.  Warming the chip/board up to room temperature will cause the chip to read channel data right.  This is very repeatable.  The pin of the AD7734 for channel zero in this case, is receiving the proper voltage channels one and two are working, but channel zero does not until warmed up.  Anyone had this problem?  Analog devices claims it could be counterfeit parts or ESD damage to that channel.
