I'm using the AD8143 as the front end in an analog video converter, and powering it with +/- 3.3V. There's a statement in the datasheet (p18) that says "...
An internal linear voltage regulator derives power for the
comparators from the positive supply; therefore, the AD8143
must always have a minimum positive supply voltage of 4.5 V..."
The question I have is, if I'm NOT using the AD8143 comparators at all, is the +3.3V rail sufficient? Is there any problem using +/-3.3V, other than a reduction in range of the allowable input common mode voltage?
