AD5422 Measuring output current with Vout connected to Iout

Hi,

I'm designing a +/-10V, +/-20ma automated calibration system using the AD5422. I would like to put a 249Ohm resistor in series with the Iout pin so that I can measure the output current. Both Vout and Iout must be connected to a ADG1436 analog switch because I need to be able to switch the polarity of the output current. When operating in voltage mode the 249Ohm resistor needs to be bypassed.

  1. Can I simply connect the Vout and +voltage sense to the far side of 249Ohm current sense as shown in the attached schematic?
  2. Can you suggest an amplifier for measurement of the signal generated across R45?
