AD8368 - AGC operation for 16 QAM signals

In the datasheet, it is mentioned that the selection of CDETO depends on the symbol rate, to ensure proper envelop tracking. Is there any formula to determine CDETO value? What will be the suitable value for 16QAM symbols @ 150M symbols per second. If we change the modulation to QPSK should the CDETO value be changed?


In the graph shown in the datasheet (Figure 39), it is shown that the EVM is degrading below -40 dBm input. Why is this degradation? We are planning to use AD8368 to extend receiver dynamic range, but the degradation  will not allow us to use it at lower level signals.

Is there anyway to avoid this degradation?
