Better debugging methods for VDK project?

I am developing a project based on VDK. But I experienced unknown Kernel Panic from time to time.

For example:

When kernel panic, the status code is:

Code: kUnhandledException

Error: BLANK

Value: 0x2a

PC: 0xffa09486

where the PC is pointing to a NOP instruction.

I have no idea the cause of the kernel panic.

Is there any better idea of how to trace the program flow or the VDK status can offer more valuable information to facilitate debugging? I notice that there is trace unit in BF processors, is there any tool uses it to provide a few jump addresses before the program crashed?
