Can somebode tell me what the specfication for the refence input for the AD5923-1 must be to get the best jitter performance.
Things like Amplitude Slewrate.....

Your minimum input slew rate must be 400V/us to achieve our typical performance numbers. In general, the higher the slew rate, the better off you will be, but we cannot guarantee performance beyond our datasheet numbers.
The minimum differential input swing must be at least 100 mVp-p for references under 250MHz, and 200mVp-p for references over 250MHz. To the same effect, having a higher input swing will give you a better slew rate but you cannot exceed the max input voltage ( 1.8V instantaneous on either differential pin) and we cannot guarantee performance beyond our datasheet numbers.

Keep in mind that you will also be limited by the jitter on your reference input.
