Normally, the CP (and SDP for that matter) 16-bit video out mode is YCbCr on DP[19:12] and DP[9:2].
Is there any reason why you couldn't use the 3x3 color space converter (CSC) to convert YUV to RGB, but then set the output formatter (OF) to 16bit "YUV".
Isn't it the case that the OF just takes the high bits out of the CSC? In the case of 16-bit YUV, doesn't that mean that effectively we are getting 565 YUV?
Am I crazy?
