Does anybody know if any Sharc Eval Board, which can be programmed by SigmaStudio, has some push-button switches and potentiometers on board to control parameters ?
SHARC evaluation boards supported by SigmaStudio (ADSP-21364 EZ-KIT, ADSP-21369 EZ-KIT, ADSP-21469 EZ-BOARD, ADSP-21479 EZ-BOARD, ADSP-21489 EZ-BOARD) have push-button switches. There are no potentiometers. These push-button switches cannot be directly used to control SigmaStudio parameters. But parameter control using push-button switches can be achieved using Algorithm Designer by creating external modules.
what do you mean with "... using Algorithm Designer by creating external modules" ?
Algorithm Designer is a utility used to implement custom SigmaStudio modules. It is included as part of SigmaStudio for SHARC. Please refer to SigmaStudio_for_SHARC_AlgorithmDesigner.pdf for more details.
Using Algorithm Designer, you can create a custom SigmaStudio module that reads a framework element (the status of the push-button switch in your case). This value/status that is read can then be used inside the custom module to control the parameters.
Thanks for your answer JJoseph.
Where can I find the pdf ? I have searched here on ADI's site, but I can't find it.
( SigmaStudio_for_SHARC_AlgorithmDesigner.pdf )
