AD2S1210 goes from 0-65536 in only 180 degrees instead of 360

I have been working with the AD2S1210.  I have setup the resolver to work in 16bit mode (0-65,536).  I am able to successfully configure the device and start to get position readings.  The problem I am having is that when I start at 0 and move the resolver 180 degrees, I get a reading of ~65,536.  The value then rolls over as I continue to rotate the resolver another 180 degrees.  I have confirmed that I am using a single speed resolver in both the data sheet, and by plotting COS & SIN vs excitation.  It appears that those values change in amplitude and phase appropriately.  I don't see anywhere in the resolver configuration any reason that this could be caused... anybody experienced this?  Any recommendations as to how I can get the FS range across 0-360 instead of 0-180 degrees?

Thanks!
