Making USB EZ-Extender (21369) appear as USB Device

This might be a rudimentary question and if so I apologize in advance. I have a SHARC 21369 EZ Kit with a USB EZ-Extender Daughter board. I built, loaded and am running the "LoopBack" example code. Thats all fine. When running this example, the USB daughter board appears as "SHARC USB EZ-EXTENDER BULK DEVICE" under ADI Development Tools in the Device Manager tree. My question is how can I modify things (driver or example code) so that the Daughter board shows up as a generic USB device.  I would like to dis-associate it from the EZ-Kit.

I am assuming I need to modify the example DSP project. Then I will have to create my own generic / custom driver. So how do I need to modify the example project? Any ideas?

Thanks again,
