How to know YPbPr or VGA has connected to ADV7441? I want a way to judge
VGA usually has separate syncs and an EDID and a whole different connector. Since you designed your board, that should be straight forward.
Do you mean RGB and YPbPr on a component input? I'm not sure of a way to tell that.
As you know, DVI has hot-plug function. Can I judge VGA or YPbPr signal hot-plug through adv7441 registers?
Neither VGA or YPbPr have any hotplug detect that you could read through ADV7441A registers. VGA does have a monitor sense but it's not connected to the ADV7441A-- you would need to handle it yourself.
My opinion, there's no firm method to judge this.
The fact is that YPbPr usually has Composite Sync embbedded on Y,
while RGB has separated HS and VS. So we may use this as an assumption
However, we sometimes (don't remember where and when) see RGB with SOG (3 wires)
But I've never seen YPbPr with separated HS & VS, although it's possible - some where some one has it
