If use this protection IC USB Connector side (Vbus, D +, D-) input the 12V voltage
protection whether action? have this kind of protection applications IC?thanks.
The protection on the connector side of the USB isolator should clamp the power supply voltage below 6.5V. If not, there is a possibility of latch-up at high temperatures during high transients. If you can't find an IC that does this, I would recommend a discrete Zener between Vbus and GND.
thanks for you reply,Currently used in the car, to prevent the assembly usb pin shorted to 12v, do you know that this protection ic? Thank you.
The ADI USB isolator is primarily intended to isolate common mode high voltage. If you are protecting from 12V power bus faults, it will require external components such as limiting resistors and diodes.
I would be happy to review your circuit if you would like.
