internal memory configuration

Hello,

I've recently tried to add some bigger buffers to my project and got this error message:

[Error li1040] ".\test_sharc.ldf":290 Out of memory in output section 'seg_dmda' in processor 'P0'

        Total of 0x9dba word(s) were not mapped.

The buffer wasn't all that big, only

int buffer [40000];

which is 640,000 bits, so I thought it should fit somewhere in the 5Mbits of my ADSP-21489.

Is there an easy way to handle this or do I have get involved in configuring LDF files.

I had a look at them but found it a bit hard to wrap my head around this.

Is there maybe an intro/tutorial?

I would like to use at least 3Mbits for 16-bit sample data.

Thanks much!
