Watchdog of BF524

I am trying to use the watchdog functionality on BF524.

When the watchdog expires, i can see that the control transfers to main again.

But i am interested in loading the application again from the flash into sdram.

My understanding is that watchdog reset does initiate a boot sequence.

Also, HRM states -

When the RESET input signal releases, the processor starts fetching and executing instructions from the on-chip boot ROM at address 0xEF00 0000.

Programmers reference atates -

The reset interrupt (RST) can be initiated via the RESET pin or through expiration of the watchdog timer.

So based on this, Watchdog reset should transfer control to  0xEF00 0000 ?

I expected that hard reset and watchdog reset should be same based on this info.

But thats not the case. Am i missing something ?

Suggestions, comments ?
