How would I go about generating an MSK waveform from the AD9833? I'm guessing this is not possible with the development board, but if it is, how? Thanks in advance.
the simpler way to do that is having 4 phase registers..
May I suggest the AD9835...
Duly noted. In the AD9833 datasheet it specifically states that it is capable of MSK. How is this done?
The MSK modulation is basically changes on the phase... As a top diagram,

So, you just need to load the unused phase register with the new phase and swap between registers.
The AD9835 is substantially more power hungry. It's not an option for my application.
How about the AD9831 or AD9832? They also have 4 phase registers, however the current consumption of both parts is still more than the AD9833. What is your limit for current draw?
I think the optimal chip for my needs is the AD9838. Thanks for all your input & help!
