ADV7180 Video Decoder - Lock Status Indicator?

Good morning.  I have a customer that has protoype boards inhouse using the ADV7181 video deocder.  He would like to know if there is a way to output a simple lock status (as a flag) on the INTRQ pin on the 32 pin LFCSP package?  He wants to indicate that video is locked by going high and clear the assertion when unlocked.

From looking at the I2C registers in the 0x40 range, this seems possible, but there is no description in the data sheet as to how the interrupts are processed / set up..  Ideally, he wants to set the IRQ to reflect raw lock status and have it clear itself autonomously when video is unlocked rather than having to clear it manually.  In other words can the ADV7181 clear its own interrupt when video is regained, and if so, how?

     Thank you.
