Is there any type of interposer card that can support the AD7766 evaluation board to an FMC type of connection? I am trying to connect the evaluation board to an FPGA evaluation board that supports an FMC interface.
Hi Paul, for the AD7766 board which hooks to our CED Board traditionally we do not ship any interposer or breakout board unfortunately.
Your options are to take off the 96-way connnector and solder from the vias for the interface signals, or hook to the 96 way connector pins out to your interposer.
I'm not very familiar with the FMC interface connector to the FPGA platforms. Which one do you use? do you have an order number for one of these?
We currently have a Xilinx SP605 evaluation board. One connection from this is an FMC connection to support mezzanine cards. I was hoping to use this connection to simply connect the A/D evaluation card to the Xilinx evaluation board so I did not have to fly wires. We have done this in the past with other cards, but you have to have the adapter from FMC to eval card connector.
If one does not exist, I can go with wiring the two together. A little more work and not as clean, but it can be done.

For now I think you’ll have to go with fly wires.
I’ll look into how we can support such an interposer for the future though to allow things run a little smoother across our kits hooking to FPGA.
The website shows interposer cards for high speed ADC and DAC eval cards
but not for the high precision.

Yes on the high speed side these exist, however at present they are operating on a slightly different connector for LVDS clocking. We are moving to converge on connectors across our platforms but it is not in place for use at this time.
More recent products use our SDP controller. This does have an interposer for the altera tool set as per below.

Unfortunately the AD7766 is not available with the correct connector.
The board was created prior to the SDP plaform.
