I tested the CN0196 in automotive environment driving a throttle actuator. The circuit works fine.
1. I would like to know, if I can use the same ground on the drive and the control side (I missed to test this option)?
2. This is a full bridge design. Is it recommended to use the topology for solenoids (where there is no need for polarity/direction change) or it would be sufficient to use just a half bridge topology? If so, would you provide a schematics?
3. I tested the circuit using a signal generator as source. PWM0 was connected to the generator and PWM1 to HI (5V). Is it a correct configuration?
4. I ordered the EVAL-ADuC7061-MKZ board, however I was not able to download the firmware (64bit Windows7 OS). Is there an updated version available. The download link does not work for mt on the circuit page.
