Soundcard not found

Hi there,

When running the uImage on the Blackfin BF548, I have an issue where the sound card cannot be identified. I configured the uImage for fdpic and enable ALSA utils and libraries, but it still appears to be unrecognizable. I have ensured the settings on this page are selected http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=linux-kernel:drivers:ad1980& but still it is not recognized. I am using the EZ KIT lite which runs the ad1980 chip. I only see the following at boot up in regards to ALSA:

Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.12rc1 (Thu Jun 22 13:55:50 2006 UTC).

So it appears something is not right. From memory there should be a device list shown specifying that my card has been recognized.

Has anyone dealt with and overcome this issue? It has me stumped.
