Hi all,

The product that I am working on uses a BF531 DSP and the bootloader is not yet developed/ ready. On our product, we use a SD card interfaced via SPI and the bootloader will actually serve the purpose when it is ready.

Till the bootloader is ready, I would like to know

how to do programming of our application in to the FLASH memory.

Till then, my opinion is that we have to use some method for programming our application in to the Flash, may be if I am not wrong

1.For this, should we write  our own function? if Yes, what functionality should it have bare minimum to get up and running ( considering that till bootloader g ets developed, we need to use this as alternative).

Any sample application exist so we could have a starting point to create/modify and adapt the flash functions?

2.Is this flash a parallel flash on the BF531 to which we are programming ?

3.We have a ADZS HP USB ICE, can not this help us in programming flash?

Thanks in advance,
