Could you tell me how much Minimum DC voltage torelance required for the capacitor between CP1-CP2, CP3-CP4, and the capacitor at CP5?
the CP5 pin is going to have the highest voltage requirement. i would expect upwards of 18V on this pin, so the capacitor should be rated accordingly. a 25V capacitor would be a good choice here.
The CP1, CP2, CP3 and CP4 voltage levels aren't as high as CP5, as they are earlier stages in the charge pump. However, i would still recommend 25V capacitors all around. better to be safe than sorry. A quick search on digikey shows that 22nF caps rated for 25V can be bought for less than a penny in volume, so the added protection shouldnt be prohibitively expensive.
Ok, I will recommend 25V caps to the customers.
