Can anyone confirm that the TWI 16-bit write is sent addr-data-data and not addr-data-addr-data? The first one is what's required for my AT24C01 EEPROM.
The TWI 16 bit write is sent addr-data-data based on what the TWIDCNT setting in the TWIMCTL is. The TWIDCNT gives the number of bytes that are to be transferred after the address has been transferred similar to 8 bit mode. The 16 bit mode differs from the 8 bit mode in how tht data is stored in the FIFO and when the interrupts occur. In 16-bit mode interrupts occur after two bytes are transferred while in 8 bit mode interrupts occur after each byte is transferred.
