I am using ADSP BF548 in one of our custom Design
I have a Ethernet IssueCan you please let us knowHow to Ping out to the external server from custom Board using LWIP .
As you may be aware, our LwIP stack is a port of the open-source stack maintained on Savannah, and we recommend that general usage questions - those not specific to our Blackfin port - are referred to their forums and the open source community, where these sort of questions have often been asked and answered already.
A double check confirms the following: lwIP is the network protocol stack, while the "ping" command is an application that uses the stack. The lwIP stack supports ICMP - on which ping is based - but does not include a ping implementation internally (just as it does not include a web server, etc - the aim is to keep the stack 'lightweight').
There are some example applications in the contrib module of the LwIP stack, available from the Savannah pages (that are not included in our port). I would recommend you take a look at the modules on Savannah. For the ICMP implementation see lwip/src/core/ipv4/icmp.c This is mostly geared towards sending replies to received ICMP frames.
