Multiple Applications in a single loader file - ADSP21368

Hi,

I have created a single loader file holding two separate applications - the first being a USB firmware updater and the second being the main application - based on the engineering notes EE-56 and EE-108. Altough this is working fine I need to be able to update the main application without ever touching the USB firmware updater application - so if something goes wrong during the firmware update the USB firmware updater application is unaffected.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to create a loader file where the second application starts on a flash sector boundary so I can delete only the sectors related to the second main application when updating and hence leave the USB firmware updater application untouched. Or will I have to create two separate loader files where only the first one has a loader kernel?

Thanks,

Pieter
