Hello guys, i am new to this whole video thing & terminology.

I have been designing with LCD's and LCD controllers for some time now, but never for video.

I am using an Solomon SSD1963  LCD Graphics controller. I found on the web a place that tool the RGB signals from this IC and put it to a resistor R2R ladder to create the 0-0.7vdc RGB signals for a VGA monitor. I bought their demo board and the video is clean.

I dont want to post it here, but you can check the PDF of that circuit here.

What i would like to do is reproduce this using a DAC that is designed for VGA output signals.

From what i can tell, they are using 6-6-6, but my design will use 5-6-5 so can anyone point me in the right direction for a Analog Devices part that would be able to replace the R2R ladder and current driver transistors ?

Thank you.
