Some questions about 21469 EZ-Kit

Hi! I have a 21469 EZ-KIT Lite and I would like to clear some questions:

1- When we write a code, compile and program, where is it written on the board? Parallel flash, SPI flash, DSP itself? I observed that if we reset the board, it seems to "loose" the code, getting back to the "factory presentation" that fades in and out the leds. The boot selection is set to position number 2, which is the factory default.

2- What's the program / erase endurance? I mean, how many times can I write a code, download it to the board without wearing off the memory?

3- In case I need to interface the SHARC via TWI (i2c) and / or SPI with an external microcontroller, is that possible? How? The schematics are pretty confusing and I couldn't figure that out.

Thank you!
