AD5292 Tools and life cycle

We have a USB-to-I2C Pro from I2C Tools that we used on an I2C DigiPot. It also has outputs for SPI, but was difficult to use for I2C because it is more oriented towards memory parts. Do you know of an appropriate programmer that is easier to use and quick to get?

Could you comment on how long the AD5292 will be available?
