I am attempting to use the Flash Programmer tool in VisualDSP++ 5.0, Update 8 to program a custom board using an ICE-100B JTAG connected to a BF548M. I am having trouble when I try to load a custom driver file (based on the BF548 EZKIT example); I click to load, it waits for a second, then I see VisualDSP++ flashing "Running" in the status bar at the bottom of the window, but the progress dialog in the flash programmer has not moved. Loading the same .dxe driver through the HPUSB-ICE, it works and I am able to program flash memory. Is there a difference between the two JTAGs that needs to be adjusted for in the driver? I am able to load custom .dxe files into RAM and run them. When I load the driver .dxe directly (File --> Load Program when I've connected to the 100B), I get the same behavior as in the flash programmer.
