Loading firmware bin file generated from SigmaStudio

I have a few questions about how to load a firmware bin file generated by SigmaStudio into my codec driver.

I am using the process_sigma_firmware_regmap function to load a firmware file.

According to the page here http://wiki.analog.com/resources/tools-software/linux-drivers/sound/adau1361 , I need to run the gen_firmware tool.

When I download the source files, I am missing the crc32.c and crc32.h files. How do I get these files?

Second question: Sigma studio already generates a bin file when I do as described in the link above, can this be used directly?

Third question: Where should the firmware bin file be stored for the kernel to be able to find it? Is it required that I build the codec driver as a module for it to be loaded?
