Blackfin DSP - Realtime Video Processing

I've been working on a project that involves realtime image processing where I stream RGB images via a webcam for display after doing some general analysis: Convert from RGB to HSV, Color Detection, Blob Detection, and track it on my PC. Now that I've completed the low speed proof-of-concept I'd liked to design some hardware to package it in a small package with a much higher frame rate. I'd like to display stable video for controlling a device moving speeds in excess of 20 MPH.

So my questions are:

      - What are the maximum frame rates I can expect for direct data stream from an 8+ megapixel camera for the Blackfin? How does Blackfin compare with the SHARC/tigerSHARC/AD21xx series?

     - What image types/color models can it accept and convert (RGB, HSV, YUV, YIQ, etc)? Are there any standard libraries for this?

     - Does anyone have a recommendation for small cellphone size cameras as well as high refresh rate LCD displays?

Thanks In Advance,
