The evalution board of Ad9548,Do it has for windows 32 bits?
i'm need for 64 bits.
We currently only have support for 32-bit USB drivers for Windows, although we in the process of getting signed drivers for 64-bit windows. You can run the evaluation software in standalone mode with Win 7 64-bit. You can also use Microsoft Virtual PC to run a Win XP virtual machine under windows 7, which is what I do with my own PC.
The problem is that the Windows 7 Cypress USB driver forces us to use Microsoft .Net framework. We are developing our new software with .net, but unfortunately, we may have to rewrite parts of the older evaluation software.
For now, I recommend Microsoft virtual PC, until we have a chance to get this sorted out. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you very muchy for response.
Can you tell me where I can find the 32-bit usb driver for AD9548 Evaluation Board?
We've bought such a board, but cannot find any driver for it.
The complete eval board installer can be downloaded here:
I've already installed the Eval Software. After the evalutaion board had been connected, the Found New Hardware Wizard appeared, but the operating system could not find the driver.
Besides, both the CR3 LED is CR2 LED are always on after power up and with USB connneted. Jumpers are installed on position P2 and SPI positon of P3 and P10. The jumper on P9 is across the center pin and "PC" symbol as described in the doc "AD9547_48_EvalBoardInstr_RevOp5.pdf".
I'm working with Windows XP SP3 32-bit version.
I have experienced the same problem with AD9547 Evaluation Software usb driver and my 64bit W7 PC: do you know any workaround (apart to have a XP virtual machine)?
thank you very much.
The 64-bit compatible software is available on the AD9548 product page (direct link here). You will probably need to re-flash the on-board EEPROM so that the correct drivers can be associated with the EVB. Instructions are located here and the re-flashing program is located here.
thank you very much for help: I will try to follow the your advice.
