BF60x SPI Dual I/O Mode (DIOM)

Hi everyone,

Let's suppose the DSP wants to read a byte from a SPI Flash using SPI Dual I/O Mode protocol.  I guess the DSP will have to:

1. Write the command and address bytes on DQ0 & DQ1 pins

2. Reconfigure DQ0/DQ pins to input somehow during the "dummy cycles"

3. Start reading data on DQ0 & DQ1 pins while staying synchronized to the original SPI CLK timing

Can the DSP do the above steps automatically after it's configured?  The manual does not say much about this.  Thanks!

Best regards,

Hai
