Unable to load symbols for dual-core project

I'm working on a project on the BF561. It uses the dual-core model, and creates p0.dxe and p1.dxe. I'm able to build and load these using an emulator (HPUSB). Once I've loaded the application over JTAG and it's running I can debug it fine, all the symbols are there.

However, I'm not able to load the symbols for the project, to attach to a running process. When I go to File->Load Symbols, and then select p0.dxe, VisualDSP gives the error "Failed to find any program files. The selected file is not part of a multiprocessor project."

This also happens when I try to load symbols for any of the example dual-core applications as well.

The problem can be replicated by simply creating a new Dual Core: Single application using both cores project, building it, attaching an emulator to a BF561, and trying to load symbols.
