How can we configure 7612 to output signal to be of IEC 60948, just like Figure 21 shows?
Is AES3 just another name of Raw IEC 60958?
Set i2soutmode - HDMI map, reg 0x03[6:5] to 0x3. (Note that the other bits in the register are irrelevant in this mode.) IEC 60958 is the consumer audio standard derived from the professional audio standard AES3.
Did You find the solution to Your question?
Does Your answer mean, that setting I2SOUTMODE[1:0] to different values can change the format of output audiodata, that was encapsulated inside the HDMI data stream?
If ADV7612 just passes through whatever audiodata it gets in the format it receives it without changing its audio format, then what is the purpose of this I2SOUTMODE register?
We set i2outmode t 0x3. But it seems not conforming the time driagram to Fig 21 of page 66, the normal IEC60958 (in you word, consumer audio standard). Could you please confirm that the output is "RAW" IEC60958 mode, instead of the normal IEC60958? How can we get the normal IEC60958 mode?
