Change AD5933 output frequency without going into standby...

Is it possible to set the output frequency of the AD5933 without entering standby mode first?

In our application we'd like to make use of the DDS section of the AD5933 independant of the impedance measurement functionality.

The idea is to do an impedance measurement sweep and then set the output frequency to the measured peak.

This can be done currently by writing the found peak frequency to the "Start Frequency" Register, entering standby mode, and then issue another Start Sweep command.  The only issue is that when entering standby mode the output is grounded.  We'd like to do this without the grounding if possible.

The datasheet doesn't seem to indicate it's possible, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Thanks,

Frank
