Horsepower of SigmaStudio paired with ADAU1701

Hi guys,

Ive been working with matlab to apply a comb filter and equalization to a prerecorded audio signal from a home built microphone. Im trying to verify that the power matlab has with its filter creation and equalization options will be able to be reproduced on the ADAU1701 paired with SigmaStudio (I plan to stop using matlab and switch my comb/equalization over to the mini eval board). My comb filter and equalization within matlab is nothing extremely complicated however my fear is that the eval board (ADAU1701) will not have enough horsepower to use the same type of filters that I am using in matlab (i.e. to get similar, if not better, results from the eval board).

Has anyone had an experience comparing the power of matlab audio filtering to the ADAU1701? If so, what did you find?

Thanks much,
