What is the difference of Ts101 0.2silicon and 0.4 silicon?
Do ADI produce Ts101 0.2silicon now?
Thanks for your question to the ADI EngineerZone. As a general rule of thumb, the primary reason for a new processor silicon revision is to fix and keep track of known silicon anomalies. Please refer to the latest ADSP-TS101 anomaly sheet available at:
This document clearly describes the list of anomalies that apply to rev 0.2, as well as the ones that have been fixed/still apply to the newer rev 0.4.
Most customers (when given a choice) would prefer newer silicon revisions unless there is a specific reason that they cannot use the newer silicon.
Hope this helps and answers your question. All the best!
